CPH BreakFast #Spring19
Community for performing arts professionals
April 1, 2019
The informal CPH Breakfast is artistic inspiration during one-hour-breakfast get-togethers.
This spring we will focus on how we talk about artistic productions in our collaborations. How do you talk about art in a no-label time? How do we create a mutually beneficial creative collaboration?
Why?
CPH Breakfast is an informal breakfast event with inspirational presentations for artists, producers and other curious people. In 60 minutes you get your fuel for the rest of the day – for mind and body. CPH Breakfast is created by Hotel Pro Forma and Karen Toftegaard ApS because we want to remember and remind why art matters.
Who?
For anyone working professionally with cross-disciplinary art forms within performing arts and/or music.
We invite special guests for each CPH BreakFast to talk about past, current or upcoming project experiences and collaborations.
CPH Breakfast is organized and curated by Hotel Pro Forma and Karen Toftegaard ApS.

When & Who?
Join us for (free) Breakfast at 9-10 AM:
- Monday, April 1 – special guests: Hotel Pro Forma Producer Lisbeth Jacobi and Sofie Kønigsfeldt, Head of Marketing and events at the museum Glyptoteket share their experiences about collaborating about Hotel Pro Forma’s new show GILGAMESH.
Hotel Pro Forma is recognized for its genre-wide and innovative work in the fields of opera, performing arts and installation, which transcend the boundaries between visual arts, text, music, theater, design and architecture.
Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek was founded by the brewer, Carl Jacobsen and is not like any other museum. Combining its amazing architecture with a world-class collection of modern art, antiquities and a spacious winter garden. It not only continues to offer new perspectives on human existence, culture and civilisation. The Museum has a habit of collaborating with different performance artists. By combining exhibition and performance events, the museum wants to activate and interact with its audience, expanding the traditional static museum experience into a more vivid one.
At CPH Breakfast the teams will tell about their collaboration: What made this collaboration successful? How did you work together (combining your different workflows etc.)? What is important to remember, when a big institution collaborates with independent artists? What has your collaboration inspired you to do (or think)?
Where?
All CPH Breakfasts take place at Hotel Pro Forma’s space (NOTE: new address):
