CPH BreakFast #Fall18
Community for performing arts professionals
November, 2018
The informal CPH Breakfast concept with artistic inspiration during one-hour-breakfast continues.
Two dates in November 2018 focus on inspiring collaborations between artists and institutions. We often see birds of a feather flock together in the performing arts industry. Therefore it is particularly interesting to hear about the case where the collaborations between different partners are a happy, creative marriage.
Why?
CPH Breakfast is an informal breakfast event with inspirational presentations for artists, producers and other curious people. In 60 minutes you get your fuel for the rest of the day – for mind and body. CPH Breakfast is created by Hotel Pro Forma and Karen Toftegaard ApS because we want to remember and remind why art matters.
Who?
For anyone working professionally with cross-disciplinary art forms within performing arts and/or music.
We invite special guests for each CPH BreakFast to talk about past, current or upcoming project experiences and collaborations.
CPH Breakfast is organized and curated by Hotel Pro Forma and Karen Toftegaard ApS.

When & Where?
Join us for (free) Breakfast on these two November dates at 9-10 AM:
- Monday, November 5 – special guests: Rikke Hedeager (Eventministeriet, Det Kongelige Teater / now Østerbro Teater) and the scenography duo Torden & Lynild.
- Wednesday, November 21 – special guests: Nikolaj Friis Rasmussen (Den Frie Udstillingsbygning) and the performance company Sisters Hope.
Rikke Hedeager, head of Eventministeriet at the Royal Theatre (2008-2018) and set designers Torden & Lynild (Sigrid Bennike & Sebastian David Tingkær) created the production “Amandaværelset”/”The room of Amanda” in 2014, mixing the horror genre, the notion of the haunted house, and different perspectives on physical and fictive space.
Sisters Hope and Den Frie Udstillingsbygning won Bikubenfondens Udstillings Vision 2016, and together they’ve produced the interactive performance installation “Sisters Academy – The Boarding School”, presented at Den Frie in the fall of 2017.
At CPH Breakfast the teams will tell about their collaboration: What made this collaboration successful? How did you work together (combining your different workflows etc.)? What is important to remember, when a big institution collaborates with independent artists? What has your collaboration inspired you to do (or think)?
All CPH Breakfasts take place at Hotel Pro Forma’s space:
