BEHIND-THE-SCENES OF NEOARCTIC

The event will give you the first exclusive look into Hotel Pro Forma’s upcoming production: NeoArctic, an evocative and alarming music performance on the Anthropocene – a new geologic epoch defined by unprecedented human disturbance of the Earth’s ecosystems.
In addition to the exhibition, the award-winning journalist Jørgen Steen Nielsen will deliver a keynote speech on the issue of the Anthropocene, bringing valuable insights into the controversial, and highly relevant, topic and trying to raise interest in acting for a sustainable world.
Behind-the-Scenes of NeoArctic # 1 is the perfect occasion for us to share our interdisciplinary research, experiments and work-in-progress with the audience, while planting the seeds of a greater understanding about the Anthropocene.
Imaginary stations will work as platforms of display for video, soundscapes, props, texts and other materials under development concerning research, structure, visual concept and set design for NeoArctic.
