After its last performance in Macao in 2015, we are pleased to announce that War Sum Up returns to Asia by performing at the Uijeongbu Music Theatre Festival in South Korea.

War Sum Up investigates the ever-changing nature of war and its relation to the mankind, because war is as simple and as complicated as humanity itself.

The work is inspired by Japanese culture and its powerful expressions of poetry, pop, precision and brutality. This is illustrated through the music, the costumes, the universe of images and the libretto which consists of texts from Noh-theatre, written by Japanese masters and sung in Japanese.

War Sum Up (2011) is a performance developed in collaboration between Hotel Pro Forma and Latvian Radio Choir.

War Sum Up will be staged twice on Monday, May 15th, 2017 at the Uijeongbu Arts Grand Theatre (15:00 and 19:30)
