Friday 6 March Atelier Hotel Pro Forma will host a new Lounge in the name of the senses.
Here, the ten new interns of Atelier Hotel Pro Forma present their artistic output, inspired by the way animals experience of the world.
Influenced by the research of the biologist Anders Garm about jellyfish and the architect company BIM Equity’s use of 3D animation, the interns have worked artistically with the selective and instinctive senses of animals.
A spider can have 8 eyes – which is ideal for hunting and surveilling.
A bat navigates by using sound signals.
How do you use your senses and are your friends able to manage the jellyfish room on their own, while you grab a beer at the bar?
This night you are invited to experience site specific installations, live performances and secret concerts.
